Location: Latonia,KY, USA
Job Purpose
This position operates on first shift, Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm. Overtime may be required, including 10 hour days and scheduled Saturdays.
The operator will sort plates, rail spikes, and other track material as it comes down a conveyor belt. Scrap is sorted manually, and plates weigh up to 40 pounds. Work is performed outside under a shelter and there is high dust exposure.

Education / Training
* HS Diploma or equivalent education and experience.
Key Job Elements
The OTM Sorter will primarily:
* Move, sort and divide Recycled railroad parts and metals coming down a conveyor line system. Work is extremely dirty and workers are exposed to all weather conditions;
* Run various equipment;
* Perform routine maintenance and clean up;
* Work outdoors in all weather conditions;
* Climb, squat, bend,and crawl;
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience operating forklifts and other mobile equipment is a plus;
* Must be able to work in severe weather conditions and withstand fumes, dust and other physical demands of the job.
