- Assist with repairs, projects and preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
- Maintain and repair sewer lines; repair and replace sewer lines due to leaks; unclog sewer lines; lay new sewer lines as required.
- Operate pneumatic and hand tools; operate all equipment and trucks; clean and maintain equipment.
- Must be able to explain and take directions via phone from Supervisor and Warehouse Storekeeper, when necessary for needed repairs
- Help maintain a parts inventory
- Must be able to work without supervision; must be able to work on-call .
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED,
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid Driver's License. Must have or be able to obtain CDL within 12 months.
- Must have or be able to obtain within 12 months ODEQ Class D Distribution and Collection Operator License or higher
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of State and DEQ regulations governing the operation of a wastewater collection systems.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with supervisors, peers, and the general public, both verbally and in written form; must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be organized, efficient, creative and capable of implementing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must have basic math skills.
