Sidley).The successful incumbent will have the following Key Accountabilities:
- Perform all duties in a safe manner, following all safety regulations and safe work practices and assuring all equipment has been inspected and is in a safe working condition
- Use various types of plants (crushers, screeners, dryers, conveyors, skid steers)
- Potential to operate heavy equipment including loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, forklifts after one year of experience in the Operator role
- Cleaning up tail pulleys with shovels or hoses, greasing plant, running skid steer to clean,
- Troubleshoot and fix problems as they arise in the plant
- General tasks in the bagging/production facility
- Complete maintenance and housekeeping around the facility
The successful incumbent will have the following Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of basic tools and their uses
- Motivated, results oriented, and able to work in a team environment
- Ability to work well with others, be respectful, and respond to supervisor instructions
- Ability and willingness to work as many hours as necessary to accomplish duties.
- Basic math and reading skills
- Forklift or Skid Steer experience a plus
Position Details
- Hourly rate of $20-$26 depending on experience
- 2nd shift hours are 1:00pm - 10:00pm from April through Thanksgiving
- 2nd shift hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm from Thanksgiving through April
