The CCTV Operators responsibility is to operate, maintain and monitor all Closed-Circuit TV Trucks and Equipment. It is the Operators' responsibility to perform work and Pipeline Assessments in an accurate, efficient and professional manner, and to the quality of workmanship specified. To ensure integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained. It is the CCTV Operators responsibility to protect and promote Coastline Water Resources interests in all matters and to do whatever is reasonably necessary to discharge his duties and responsibilities which include but are not necessarily limited to the following. To have thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of each Project Specification, GIS Data/ Maps and Drawings, Addenenda, and to assist Field Supervisor in implementing the development of the on-site procedures. To examine project maps, drawings, specifications and addenda's for design deficiencies or impractical specification details with the Field Supervisor in an internal Pre-Construction meeting so that he can discuss them with the engineers and clients prior to the beginning of work. Perform all work in accordance with project standards and specifications, including but not limited to; code entry, NASSCO/PACP standards (if applicable), and various Municipality CCTV Specifications if not otherwise outlined in a project specific standard or specification. Responsible for Operating and Maintaining the CCTV Truck and related equipment. Notifying the Field Supervisor of potential breakdowns, supplies needed or worn equipment that needs repair, maintenance or replacing. Responsible for coordinating a list of equipment and supplies needed to the Field Supervisor, scheduling appropriate time for repairs with the Fleet Supervisor and coordinating any repairs that are not able to be made in house with our CCTV truck with its manufacturer Cues, Inc. and its related supplier. To perform all necessary software updates and changes needed to perform work. Building project databases per each project specification and or contract specification and performing weekly exports and data backup for those related projects. To record all events and assessments in a clear video format and provide all necessary reports and submittals for the related project in a format standard set by the project specifications. Responsible for maintaining a secure system for backing up all data to Coastline's internal server and secondary backup measures. Prior to the start of work meet with Field staff to develop a project specific plan for CCTV Reports & Quality Control measures and reporting. To coordinate, direct and monitor the backup laborer to ensure that all CCTV operations are running fluidly and efficiently. Prepare and complete all database entries in a CCTV spreadsheet per the contract and/or project specifications. This includes data entry for the camera operations and defective locations. To perform all jobsite safety measures, including the performance of weekly toolbox safety meetings for your crew and turning all forms in each Monday. To cooperate with the activities of the municipalities and inspection agencies, and to put into effect remedial actions indicated by the reports of these agencies. To provide CCTV spreadsheets to the Field Supervisor, as required in a timely manner for the preparation of progress meetings with the owners, engineers and/or clients. To maintain good relations and communications with all involved in the projects, including the public. Provide all project quantities and hours to both the Field Supervisor and Operations Manager for progress and final billings. Provide all timecards and paperwork to the office each Monday for the prior week, which should include: Toolbox Safety Meetings, Daily Work Reports, and Extra Work Tags.
