Job DescriptionDEPARTMENT: FabricationJOB TITLE: Operator Level 1REPORTS TO: Shift Supervisor, with direction from department Team LeaderSHIFT DAYS /HOURS: 2nd shift Monday - Friday: 3pm - 11pm. Some overtime may be required on Saturday.The general purpose of this position is to be responsible for operating various types of machinery including, but not limited to; brake presses, drill presses, small mill, large mill, C.T.L., punch and I.D, 7.0-to-7.5-ton presses, etc.STARTING PAY: $19.68 per hour + (1.00 shift premium) with the ability to earn more.The Ideal Candidate will consistently demonstrate the following behaviors.

- Fabricate material to specified instructions using specified measuring tools, tape measure, steel ruler, venire/dial calipers, protractors, etc.
- Inspect material before and after fabricating to check for quality.
- Move material to and from workstation.
- Maintain all specified tolerances per instructions.
- Work with little supervision, making most decisions regarding the quality of the material.
- Read and understand m drawings (test may be given).
- Knowledge of '5S' program
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
- Identify quality grade levels and exposed surfaces.
- Able to use all types of hand tools, measuring devices, etc.
- Good hand eye coordination.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull material weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to do basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide whole numbers).
- Able to work overtime as needed.
- Must be team oriented.
- Maintain excellent attendance, productivity, and quality.
What You Will Need:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Must pass a skills-based test starter.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently, self-motivated self-starter with a minimum of three (3) months related experience and/or will train hands on, and equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must pass company background check and drug screen.
