The Operator Solid Waste Equipment is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of solid waste vehicles on the Walt Disney World property and deliver solid waste and recycling materials to the landfill, transfer stationor other designated locations. The candidate must have a class A CDL drivers license and have a minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience. Must pass drug and DOT driving tests.The pay rate for this role in Florida is $26.23 per hour.Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Basic Qualifications : - A valid Florida CDL Class A drivers license for at least one (1) year (with NO E RESTRICTION)
- Ability to drive manual transmission on commercial vehicles such as vans, straight trucks, etc
- Ability to obtain one year valid DOT medical card from Disneys Health Services
- Ability to pass the Disney road test
- Recent tractor-trailer experience or experience driving commercial vehicles such as vans, straight trucks, etc
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
