Job Description:
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities
  • Complete subassemblies for all instruments
  • Train others on all subassemblies
  • Complete final assembly for a minimum of 5 instruments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor assembly and instrument problems/issues
  • Create and follow work instructions and equipment manuals
  • Organize and prioritize work activities
  • Work independently and take initiative without being prompted
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma activities
  • Follow all company safety practices and demonstrate commitment to safety
  • Follow and maintain, as necessary, all procedures according to ISO and A2LA documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Completes other responsibilities as assigned by management
Education - Experience - Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Associate's degree at accredited post-secondary school in electronics, electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology or other closely related technical field OR two years of relevant experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required
  • Proven proficiency in basic mechanical skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problems solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task, handling occasional interruptions and shifting priorities
  • Basic to Intermediate PC, internet and MS Office Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of individuals
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
