What you'll do...
- Install and remove utility poles with various pieces of equipment including Digger Derrick, excavators, and various hand tools both on and off road.
- Set up and maintain work sites in various locations with an emphasis on safety.
- Inspect and maintain equipment.
Who we are looking for...
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Valid driver's license
- You are at least 21 years old.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a Digger Derrick to set and remove utility poles.
- You are authorized to work in the United States for this company.
- You have a valid CDL A or B License (A preferred) with a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role with the telecommunications construction industry.
- You are able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance.
- Knowledge of Installation of aerial and underground cables and/or support members in conformance with all applicable codes, regulations, and customer specifications (NEC Electrical Code, System and/or City Specifications).
