Location: Arbuckle,CA, USA
* Monitor both systems in a timely manner while still running efficiently.
* Understand, or have the ability to learn the required operation of the Water treatment/Acidulation process.
* Processes water samples from the boilers, cooling tower and Water treatment area utilizing lab equipment.
* Monitors and adjusts operations to meet quality and production requirements.
* Transfers process chemicals in a safe manner.
* Communicating with operators and supervision to address the needs for Acidulation tank space, to avoid impacting refinery operation.
* Keeping inventory in order as needed to keep a healthy system.
* Learn processing controls using a computerized system.
* Participate in audits, ensuring all areas are audit ready at all times.
* Complete all personal required safety trainings.
* Operate forklift as needed after proper training/certification.
* Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures and forms.
* Ensure a clean and safe work environment adhering to food safety guidelines.
* Learn and maintain proper use of personal protection equipment (P.P.E.).
* Report all accidents, incidents and near misses to the Superintendent of Operations and the Plant Manager.
* Ensure all tasks are completed safely as assigned to the shift.
* Participate in all audits, ensuring all areas are audit-ready at all times.
* Follow all safety rules and requirements, attending safety meetings, and tailgates.
* Other duties as directed or required.
Qualifications
* Must be or become forklift operator certified.
* 3-5 years of processing equipment operations experience.
* Intermediate level in general computer applications use.
* Have the ability to climb stairs and ladders.
* Able to work in all weather conditions.
* Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
* Must be willing and able to work overtime hours during the week, weekends and/or holidays as directed by management.
* Must be able to clearly communicate to co-workers and management.
* Must be flexible to work rotating shifts.
