OPERATOR- Water Treatment
: Job Details :

* Monitor both systems in a timely manner while still running efficiently.* Understand, or have the ability to learn the required operation of the Water treatment/Acidulation process.* Processes water samples from the boilers, cooling tower and Water treatment area utilizing lab equipment.* Monitors and adjusts operations to meet quality and production requirements.* Transfers process chemicals in a safe manner.* Communicating with operators and supervision to address the needs for Acidulation tank space, to avoid impacting refinery operation.* Keeping inventory in order as needed to keep a healthy system.* Learn processing controls using a computerized system.* Participate in audits, ensuring all areas are audit ready at all times.* Complete all personal required safety trainings.* Operate forklift as needed after proper training/certification.* Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures and forms.* Ensure a clean and safe work environment adhering to food safety guidelines.* Learn and maintain proper use of personal protection equipment (P.P.E.).* Report all accidents, incidents and near misses to the Superintendent of Operations and the Plant Manager.* Ensure all tasks are completed safely as assigned to the shift.* Participate in all audits, ensuring all areas are audit-ready at all times.* Follow all safety rules and requirements, attending safety meetings, and tailgates.* Other duties as directed or required.Qualifications* Must be or become forklift operator certified.* 3-5 years of processing equipment operations experience.* Intermediate level in general computer applications use.* Have the ability to climb stairs and ladders.* Able to work in all weather conditions.* Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.* Must be willing and able to work overtime hours during the week, weekends and/or holidays as directed by management.* Must be able to clearly communicate to co-workers and management.* Must be flexible to work rotating shifts.
