A high school diploma is a must, along with the commitment to achieve Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification within two years of joining the team. Proficiency in the safe and efficient use of medical and office equipment is critical, as is the ability to foster positive working relationships with both physicians and staff. You should thrive in a fast-paced medical environment while adhering to HIPAA compliance regulations.Strong computer software skills, along with typing proficiency, are necessary to manage patient information effectively. Finally, conveying a positive attitude and the ability to work independently are traits that will contribute to your success in this role.Work Conditions: Eye Clinic of Wisconsin has eight locations; while staff will be assigned to a home location; travel to satellites is a requirement of the position. Hours of work will be dependent on the needs of the Clinic. Requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
