Consider taking on a key role in our team as the (OPI/OPAR Business Continuity Support, Administrative Specialist 1, Office of Program Integrity (OPI)/Central Operations) for the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS).

About the Office of Program Integrity (OPI), The mission of the Office of Program Integrity (OPI) is to support all ODHS programs in measuring and promoting compliance with state and federal laws and rules by assisting with improving program accuracy through high quality and timely review services and information sharing. OPI strives to increase the quality and accuracy of ODHS programs by clearly communicating OPI findings with ODHS, providing the information necessary for ODHS to improve the timeliness and accuracy of benefits for Oregonians. Summary of Duties

This position is part of ODHS Central Operations. The purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Office of Program Integrity (OPI) and the Office of Payment Accuracy and Recovery (OPAR).?????

As a Business Continuity Support Administrative Specialist, you will:

* Process and screen incoming injury and non-injury forms to ensure accuracy.

* Receives, compiles, and creates new cases in database.

* Images paper and electronic documents into the unit's case tracking system ICM.

* Reviews various lien payments to identify recoveries by client and program and maintains necessary activity records and other reports that identify PIL recovery activity.

* Prepares monthly report that identifies performance measures for the unit.

* This position is the backup support specialist for your counterpart.

* Process incoming and outgoing mail, including processing and dispositioning recovery checks receipted in the unit.

* Updating badge access, creating, and printing building access badges, removing building access for previous employees and deactivating badge access for lost badges and printing replacement badges.

* Works with facilities to assure maintenance repairs have been completed.

* Assist the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) review team with scheduling in-person appointments with clients, caregivers, and/or authorized representatives.

* Assist with printing interview packets for scheduled appointments and handouts for agency training.

Minimum Qualifications

* Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR

* An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data; OR

* An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions

* This position is full time in office and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.

* Workstation is in an area which can be noisy, have frequent interruptions, temperature variations, and is occasionally shared with other administrative staff.

* Interactions with multiple units providing information in person, by email, telephone or virtually.

* Occasionally interactions with disagreeable or hostile persons via phone.
