Your Specific Responsibilities: - Timesheet and EAR entry within the required time frame
- Subject to emergency duty in the event of a natural disaster
- Completion of all mandatory or assigned trainings within the required time frame
- Position is required to assist primary main lobby kiosk clerk, filling in as needed to greet visitors and customers at the main entrance of the Department's Ocala facility, providing program information and directional support in verbal and written modes, and ensure kiosk has sufficient supplies and printed materials.
- The incumbent will work independently with minimum supervision and report directly to the Operations Director while working in close coordination with the Public Information Officer/Quality Improvement Coordinator at the Florida Department of Health in Marion County.
- Orders supplies and equipment as needed in support of Operations Team mission requirements.
- Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
- Performs administrative and clerical functions such as preparing correspondence and reports, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking and preparing minutes.
- Provides support for scheduling and tracking PMQI training classes.
- Performs updates to DOH-Marion SharePoint site and Florida Health Performs.
- Maintains surveys and databases in support of the Operations Team.
- Performs other assigned duties including but not limited to performing other public health preparedness duties during a disaster or public health response.
Qualifications:Minimum - Demostrated experience working in an office setting.Demostrated experience using Microsoft Office computer applicationsDemostrated customer service experiencePreferred - Bilingual fluent in English and SpanishExperience preparing reports and meeting minutesExperience preparing web content
