Provides clients access to literature and guidance pertaining to breastfeeding, immunizations, and substance abuse (alcohol, tobacco, drugs).Offers the opportunity for voter registration to each eligible parent/participant at certification. Ensures a voter registration preference form for each applicable participant is completed and maintained according to procedure.Performs anthropometric on WIC clients using the correct anthropometric techniques. Performs hematological screening on WIC clients as needed.Maintains equipment as necessary; responsible for calibrating all equipment used for weighing, measuring, and performing hematological screening following the procedures.Maintains a log of all hematological equipment.Maintains documentation of all calibrations.Cleans labs area and equipment daily. Creates and maintains client folders and obtains required documents for certifications used by the clerical staff.Accurately completes all required forms and reports including but not limited to Employee Activity Report, Leave and Attendance Record, Leave Authorization forms and travel logs by required deadlines.
