Provides needed health care procedures to students as trained by their Community Health Nursing Supervisor. These include but are not limited to intermittent clean catheterization, gastrostomy tube feeding, and monitoring blood glucose. Organize and assist with state mandated health screenings such as hearing/ vision, scoliosis, and body mass index. Maintains accurate records/documentation of all work performed. Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Utilization of equipment: Computer, printer, fax machine and telephone skills and data entry knowledge.
