MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as needed
* Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
* Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently.
* Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Administrative and/or clerical experience working in an office environment.
* Experience creating documents, maintaining files, and keeping records.
* Experience in human resources and/or working with confidential employee information and/or data.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position reports to the Nursing Home Administrator and provides professional administrative support, to human resources, medical records, and other administrative offices within the state veteran nursing home.
* Communicate with others to obtain and verify information.
* Follow written and verbal directions and instructions.
* Maintain a positive approach and strong work ethic.
* Problem solving and effective decision making.
* Work independently, exercise judgment with self-discipline, and take appropriate initiative.
* Perform other related duties as required.
This position is in the Other Personnel Services (OPS - Temporary) system.
