JOB POSTING JOB TITLE: Optics Quality Inspector DEPARTMENT: Optics
REPORTS TO: Knight Vision Supervisor
PURPOSE OF POSITION: The position of Optic Quality Inspector is to verify all documentation has been completed correctly and all Universal Night Sights and/or assemblies have been built to the appropriate work instructions and/or test specifications. Meet or exceed all manufacturing specifications in accordance to processes and or procedures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of direct work experience or three years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, Quality Plans, Run Sheets, Work Instructions, and procedure manuals. Requires the use of simple arithmetic including decimal calculations, simple use of charts. Maintain and understand records. Basic understanding of SPC.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES: - Inspect and verify the Universal Night Sights and/or any sub-assembly, meet and/or
- exceed all manufacturing specifications in accordance to established Quality Work
- Instructions and Procedures.
- Verify all documentation has been followed and completed properly.
- Assists with the shipping of the product.
- Complete all tasks as directed with minimum supervision.
- Perform additional duties as requested by management.
