- Execute equity options using electronic and voice trading
- Make real-time trading decisions based on systematic signals
- Actively manage options portfolio risks
- Design semi-automated process to respond to various market events
- Analyze transaction costs and improve execution quality
- Maintain relationships with a broad set of voice-based liquidity providers (options desks at banks, brokers, etc.)
- Help the team expand trading capacity by responding to flow
- Continuously contribute to the team's investment process
- Help the team expand to different asset classes as well as into semi-systematic trading
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or higher degree in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, or other quantitative discipline
- At least one year of work experience as an options trader
- Strong applied knowledge of options risks
- Self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced, high growth, startup environment
- Desire to continuously learn and proactively improve existing processes
- Detail-oriented and vigilant about potential operational risks
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Python and experience in Linux is a plus
