Our global portfolio of trusted brands is known for its consistency, reliability, and exceptional services that add value to our end-user's applications and processes.We currently have an opening for an Opto-Mechanical Assembly Technician at our operating site in Horsham, PA (Philadelphia metro area). This facility manufactures Tiger Optics' branded laser-based analyzers and air monitors used in high purity and industrial gas, semiconductor, laboratories, life sciences and various other end markets. The Opto-Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for supporting manufacturing of our laser-based gas analyzers and reporting into the Opto-Mechanical Assembly Lead Technician. On a daily basis, the Opto-Mechanical Assembly Technician builds the mechanical portion of our gas analyzers, performs cycle count of parts in stock, finalizes the analyzers and supporting equipment prior to shipment, and assists with other Production tasks and/or team members. He/she is expected to efficiently shift between tasks depending on product production and delivery requirements, complete tasks in a timely manner, and communicate effectively with his/her supervisor for any questions and/or need for assistance.The ideal candidate for this position is a self-managed and task-oriented professional with an attention to details and motivated to learn and coordinate with other team members. He/she must be adaptable and flexible to perform in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.RequirementsDuties and Responsibilities: • Perform mechanical assembly with tight tolerances, including assembly of gas analyzers and supporting equipment• Pull parts specified by jobs• Finalize gas analyzers and supporting equipment for shipment and verify requirements • Perform cycle count of parts in stock• Perform other work-related duties as assigned and other Production related tasks• Apply equal amounts of skills and dedication to all other duties as assignedQualifying Attributes and Skills: • Associate's degree in a related technical field or 2-5 years relevant work experience• Experience in mechanical assembly with excellent manual dexterity• Experience with handling/routing fiber optic cables preferred• Ability to use electro/optical test equipment, including oscilloscope, digital voltmeter, wavemeter, etc.• Ability to perform routine work in a fast-paced, team environment under tight deadlines• Ability to multi-task• Must have excellent attention to detail• Ability to work autonomously with little or no direction; self-managed• Willingness to assist with tasks, even when the work is out of the scope of responsibilities
