Family Eye Care of Medford is an eye care provider located in Medford, NY. Our dedicated team provides comprehensive eye exams and eye care services to patients in Medford and surrounding areas including Patchogue, Holbrook, Port Jefferson, Yaphank, Holtsville, and Bellport, NY.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating eye conditions, prescribing and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses, and providing personalized eye care recommendations. The Optometrist will also collaborate with our team to ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Valid state license to practice optometry
• Experience in conducting comprehensive eye exams and diagnosing eye conditions
• Knowledge of current eyewear and contact lens trends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus
