ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking an Operating Room Assistant interested in joining the Main Operating Room. The OR Assistant is responsible for the preparation and breakdown of the operating room and knowledge of what surgical equipment is required for each type of surgery. They will assist in patient transport to and from the OR, sterilization of equipment, assembling surgical beds and stocking case carts with surgical instruments. Schedule: Full time- Monday through Friday. From 11am to 7pm- weekends, holidays as needed.Frequent exposure to moderate to heavy physical activity such as pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, reaching and bending Requiring exertions of 20-50 lbs. of force. Constant mobility must be expected.
