Job Title: OR Charge RN- will focus on leadership of Surgical Services Department: Operating Room (Surgical Services) Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift, occasionally one Saturday per month, no major holidays. Sign-on Bonus: $3,500.00 (paid in two installments after hire) Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least 1 year of OR Charge RN experience required
- 2+ years of OR RN experience required
- Ortho experience is strongly preferred
Licensure - Current NYS RN license Job Summary: The role of the OR Charge RN in an operating room provides leadership, guidance, supervision, and support to the Surgical Services team; as well as direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles as needed. In addition to general nursing care, the responsibilities of OR Charge RN include (but are not limited to): The surgery center is a multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center including ENT, Podiatry, Orthopedics, General, Plastics, Pain Management, and other surgical specialties.
