Job Details

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position provides direct care to patients who may range in age from infancy to the elderly and demonstrates safe practice within the scope of clinical judgement and decision-making, nurse-patient/family relationship, and clinical leadership

The OR Staff Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, safety, and age appropriate considerations of assigned patients, while complying with all regulatory standards and hospital policies and best practices

Adheres to strict Universal Precautions and Blood-borne Pathogens protocols

Supports anesthesia, maintains patent patient airways, including adult and pediatric patients

Must be Certified
