Job title: Oracle BRM Support Engineer Job Location: Irving, TX / Medley, FL Job Type: Hybrid Duration: Fulltime with Cognizant Experience: 8 to 12years Roles and Responsibilities: •Technical Support: Provide day-to-day technical support for OBRM, addressing and resolving issues related to system performance, configuration, and functionality. •System Maintenance: Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and backups. •Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems, working closely with interfacing teams and development teams •Configuration Management: Manage and maintain system configurations, ensuring they meet business requirements and compliance standards. •Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, SOPs, maintaining knowledge base for incidents, Service requests, Problems etc. •Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and reliability. •Team Handlining: Should be able to collaborate with offshore support team closely. To be SME for any complex production issues and be able to provide workaround or solution on a timely manner. The candidate should be able to drive major incident calls and provide a timely update of the status. Drive continuous improvement activities like Automation, proactive problem management etc. Qualifications: •Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. •Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle 11g/12c, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, and scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Shell). •Knowledge: Strong understanding of OBRM architecture, modules, and functionalities, including rating, billing, invoicing, and payments. •Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. •Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. •Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: •Experience with other Oracle Communication Stack products. •Knowledge of middleware technologies. •Experience in telecom domain projects.
