Job Description

We are seeking an independently driven principal consultant to join our Oracle NetSuite team. The principal consultant will work in collaboration with the Delivery team and Sales team to provide expertise utilizing industry experience, business analysis, best practices and a pragmatic mindset to facilitate clients' most complex requirements. The Principal Consultants facilitate the development of SOWs for new and existing customers. Principal Consultants should be eager to mentor junior consultants and staff.

As part of our team, you will lead and mentor a talented group of NetSuite Professionals and work in a client-facing role. Your expertise and passion for client service will be critical in helping us achieve our ambitious goals and maintain our position as a market leader in NetSuite Services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
• Lead full-cycle NetSuite implementation projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Act as a technology expert and drive presale initiatives from the solutions point of view and prepare necessary documentation to draft SOW.
• Work in collaboration with sales team to prepare and deliver components of SOW for various client engagements and handshake necessary information to delivery team.
• Translate complex business requirements and processes into NetSuite technical designs, both remotely and in-person, as requested by clients, including video or onsite interactions.
• Oversee all project phases, including discovery, design, build, testing, training, and deployment. Serve as the highest level of escalation for functional issues within delivery teams.
• Perform fit/gap analysis on business requirements to inform system design and execution.
• Develop wireframes and schematic diagrams to support customer requirements gathering and overall business process discovery.
• Work closely with the in-house development team to implement custom solutions, documenting these in clear and comprehensive Technical Design Documents.
• Act proactively as a trusted client advocate, providing implementation and industry-specific best practices throughout engagements.
• Contribute to various internal initiatives, including mentoring resources and ongoing NetSuite education.
• Show a willingness to learn and develop NetSuite product skills in all areas as required by customer engagements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant consulting experience in Oracle NetSuite Financials, CRM and other applications.
• Undergraduate degree or MBA in the field of Business, Finance, Accounting, Software or relevant field.
• Strong background in finance/accounting, consulting and advisory services, general-specific industry experience.
• Worked as a Solution Architect across varying project sizes and complexity; from small through enterprise level implementations of NetSuite applications.
• Individual has 10+ end-to-end NetSuite implementations and has hands-on Technical/Functional NetSuite ERP Implementation experience.
• NetSuite certifications highly preferred – NetSuite ERP Consultant, NetSuite Certified Administrator, and SuiteFoundation.
• Experience and knowledge of best practices surrounding NetSuite technical capabilities such as: SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, and SuiteTalk. Effectiveness in designing end-to-end solutions with these capabilities in mind.
• Experience with specialized NetSuite process areas and products is preferred, these include: Advanced Manufacturing, Advanced Revenue Management, Demand Planning, Services Resource Planning, and SuiteCommerce Advanced.
