SUMMARY: Responsible for pulling orders based on pick ticket to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks. 99.0% accuracy is goal for order picking.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.Build customer orders according toassigned load tickets.Operate industrial power equipment for lifting and moving product.Stage completed pallets in designated area.Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation of product.Adhere to good manufacturing and safety standards.Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.Maintain orderly and clean work area to comply with Company safety and sanitation requirements.Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.Order count verification per ASN (Advanced Ship Notice), verification of order prior to delivery of product - 99.0% accuracy required.Other duties may be assigned or requested.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.COMPETENCIES: Demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift. Prior warehouse experience preferred.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to respond to common inquiries.Mathematical Skills: High degree of ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift, push, pull, carry and/or move from 10 to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision. Repetitive use of the hands/arms/shoulders required in completing required work. Bend and rotate at the waist 45 degrees with full arm extension while lifting from 10 to 45 pounds at a rate of 9 times per hour. Climb a mobile ladder having 5 steps while carrying weights from 10 to 45 pounds, up to 10 times per hour. Ability to climb into route trucks over 50 inches from floor level to remove pallets and products weighing up to 75 pounds to service up to 94 bays per shift. Full dexterity of hands, arms and wrists necessary to reach a height of 72 inches while removing cases weighing from 10 to 40 pounds from the top of the pallet several times per shift.WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (typical warehouse work environment). The floors of the warehouse area are smooth, however are often wet and slippery. Large doors remain open to allow trucks to enter and leave the work area; consequently, working temperatures may vary accordingly. Moderate stress may be created by the fast pace of the loader/warehouse operations; and long shifts during summer months (work until trucks are loaded).#J-18808-Ljbffr
