Order Entry Specialist

The Order Entry Specialist plays a key role in supporting sales operations by managing and processing customer orders. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate logistics effectively. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that orders are processed, shipped, and invoiced correctly, providing exceptional service to both the sales team and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high volume of detailed customer orders received from multiple sources. Ensure precise data entry, as accuracy is critical to prevent errors and ensure correct product fulfillment.
  • Address and resolve any shipping issues, such as damages, returns, or discrepancies, and process any necessary adjustments or credits.
  • Customize packaging and labeling according to specific customer requests, ensuring proper branding and product presentation.
  • Generate and distribute invoices for completed orders, ensuring timely billing and accurate record-keeping.
  • Provide consistent support to customers and sales representatives, building strong relationships and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Experience in order management, logistics, or related fields
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or similar software is a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
