About the Opportunity: •Job Title: Order Entry •Pay: $50,000/Annually •Location: Bloomington, MN •Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Thurs 7:30AM-4:30PM and Fri 7:30AM-2PM with Mandatory Overtime (4 hours a week). Daily functions:
Enters purchase orders. Creates and communicates sales order acknowledgements directly to customer or to the applicable Account Manager. Analyzes multiple levels and sources of production and inventory demand; creates job orders to fulfill customer and stocking requirements with respect to quantity and due date. Inputs Customer Forecast in PCN. Manages and inputs ECO's and BOM maintenance for long term contract customers in the Bloomington PCN. Assists Production and Account Management as necessary in the maintenance of job order routings and bill of materials to resolve issues for work-in-process jobs. Building and developing relationships with multiple functions across sites and ensuring the planning strategies support the overall company strategies. Enters rework, RMA's routes as required by Production Floor. Monitors annual sales forecast. Utilize the Thrive forecasting tool. Analyzes prior months revenue and provides similar feedback leveraging the thrive forecasting tool. Acts as backup for Master Scheduler including: - Lead daily production meeting highlighting special orders, departmental late orders, and inventory shortages. Prompt for and develop recovery plans which ensure customer expectations are met.
- Review and monitor MRP and Make to Stock jobs. Adjust schedule based on MRP driven suggestions, inventory levels and related information to ensure scheduling integrity.
Desired qualifications:
Associate degree in business or related field, bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing job shop required. Previous production planning experience in a multi-plant operation. Proficient computer skills including ERP/MRP, Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point. Effective communication skills Excellent organizational skills Detail Oriented Ability to multi-task Must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
