The Order Fulfillment Lead plays a critical role within the ORAFOL Logistics Team, ensuring accurate and timely packaging of shipments according to customer and company requirements. The successful candidate will facilitate the flow of product through the department while maintaining inventory integrity. The candidate will have a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment with a willingness to adapt to department changes. This position will be the primary contact for matters in the daily operations of the Packaging department and Customer service point of contact and support of Internal Inventory Control. The position will work closely with multiple levels of the organization including but not limited to: Manufacturing Areas, Sales, Customer Service and other groups within the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Will be required to operate Powered Industrial Equipment.
Oversee the preparation of orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
Picking finished product available for shipment based on customer and workflow priorities.
Packaging and labeling product according to department procedures and customer specific requirements.
Oversee the shipping of domestic freight and UPS to ensure proper shipping procedures.
Preparation of freight orders onto skids for shipment and assists in the loading of outgoing trucks.
The daily management and review of Business Express (BE) transactions and backlog within the Order Fulfillment area.
Verifying and maintaining inventory accuracy of product, ensuring accurate transaction of product in Business Express (BE) program.
Identify incorrect or short-shipped items, overages/outages finished good inventory, and assist in the determination of root cause and required corrective actions.
Provides training to team members to include shipping procedures, packaging/labelling requirements, and Business Express (BE) transactions.
Properly completing and providing communications on corrective actions in regards to inventory management and Order Fulfillment functions.
Accumulate required data for Daily Production Meetings and report out on status of orders/shipments.
Maintaining organized storage of shipment records and documentation.
Maintaining and updating any KPIs for the Order Fulfillment area.
Fosters a team environment approach and coordinates efficiently and effectively with multi-functional internal and external organizations.
Actively supporting Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement programs (SQDC).
Act as a backup in the absence of the Logistics Supervisor for the Order Fulfillment area.
Perform other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

Follows prescribed safety regulations in accordance with ORAFOLs Health and Safety policy.
Follow prescribed safety guidelines in accordance to ORAFOL Americas Safety program; use required PPE.
Maintains an optimal level of product quality and adheres to ORAFOLs Quality Program.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Some college experience is preferred.
High mathematical aptitude.
Work Experience:
Must have experience working in a manufacturing/logistics environment.
Supervision experience preferred.
Command of Business Express (BE) program.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
