Job Description:

We're Hiring: Sr. Associate, Order Management (Contractor – L2)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Associate, Order Management to join our team at our Rochester, NY location. This is an onsite, contract role with the potential to become full-time. You will be responsible for managing and processing quotes and sales orders, ensuring compliance with government contracts and export regulations. Key Details:

  • Location: Rochester, NY (onsite only)
  • Pay Rate: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM (flexible)
  • Target Start Date: October 14, 2024
  • Duration: 5 months (Temp-to-Perm possible)
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Overtime: OT expected (with approval), billed at 1.3x rate

Essential Functions:

  • Process quotes and sales orders in compliance with export regulations and pricing policies.
  • Work directly with customers to determine delivery and contract requirements.
  • Review Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) for compliance with export regulations.
  • Interpret government contracts and ensure accurate translation into sales orders.
  • Communicate and mitigate risks related to delayed shipments due to incomplete processing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, OR
  • Graduate degree with 0 to 2 years of experience, OR
  • In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work with diverse internal departments and display leadership qualities.
