POSITION SUMMARY As an Order Pickup Attendant, you'll be a part of E-Commerce department supporting customer pickup orders, taking new orders as well as providing support to in house shoppers. You will also be managing checkout for third party shoppers. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Assists customers with their pickup orders (pack, display, and handoff orders to customers) • Models and delivers outstanding customer service. • Maintains awareness of customer flows; responds promptly to customer needs and questions. • Act as cashier for third party order shoppers. • If need it, accurately take new orders, and input them into the system. • Demonstrates advanced product knowledge. • Works with Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues. • Performs other duties as required or assigned KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS • 2+ year of experience in a high-volume restaurants or grocery stores with online orders • 2+ years of experience operating POS and cash handling • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Basic computer skills • Customer service orientated and a strong passion for hospitality • Ability to multi-task and answer customer questions • High school diploma or equivalent preferred Availability Requirements • Team Members receive their schedule up to 2 weeks in advance • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. • Ability to stand for prolong periods of time. • Moving around on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the work area and property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment. • Climbing steps regularly. • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. • Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The base pay range for this position is a range of $18 - $22 per hour.
