The Opportunity: West Music is seeking an Order Picker (First Shift) to take on order picking and other warehouse duties on our day shift in our distribution center. This is an entry-level position working with our team to ensure orders are accurately and quickly fulfilled. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in picking and packing orders in the distribution center.
- Checking orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Labeling, packing and preparing items for shipping.
- Ensuring warehouse is kept organized and maintained according to safety regulations.
- Providing support to the other warehouse personnel in daily operations.
Desired Qualifications:
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Weigh and measure items for quality control.
- Able to stand for extended period of times and lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to take direction and multitask.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in the music industry.
- Experience operating forklifts or power trucks.
- Experience with inventory management and order processing.
- Basic understanding of computers and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license.
