SUMMARY
Operates powered industrial trucks in order to fill customer orders. Operates gasoline, gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.
SUMMARY

Operates gasoline, gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, scoop, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, clamps, elevating platform, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Must possess two of the following four skills, Raymond pick-up vehicle certification, Forklift license, perform merge requirements (demonstration required) or perform put away duties (demonstration required).
Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
Stores finished goods, and completes inventory transactions on vehicle computer terminal.
Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.
Pulls finished goods for internal/external shipments.
Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
Ensures that vehicle is in good operating condition, completes and documents daily safety check sheet, notifies supervisor of deficiencies.
Record transactions using proper procedures on the RF terminals.
Abide by all safety rules and regulations.
Completes annual updates of OSHA required training as assigned by supervisor.
Reports all safety malfunctions, near hits, and/or injuries to supervisor immediately.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Previous experience operating powered industrial lift vehicles in a warehouse environment preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs, learn computer functions.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Valid Driver's License
Forklift license (may be required if one of the Warehouse Attendant's job duties)
