We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating an electric pallet jack and selecting the correct products from our warehouse racking. Your tasks will include labeling products using SOS label technology, palletizing items to fulfill customer orders, and delivering them safely to the dock. You will work in various temperature-controlled environments-Dry, Cooler, and Freezer-ensuring that all products are handled and labeled correctly. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will stack products according to established procedures, stage pallets for loading, and stretch-wrap items on the dock. Safety is our top priority, so you will be expected to maintain and operate all assigned equipment, conduct regular inspections, and adhere to SyscoSafe work methods and sanitation requirements in compliance with Sysco and AIB (American Institute of Baking) policies. Hand selects orders within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer, operates assigned SOS unit to create labels, correctly places labels on product, stacks product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (e.g., no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.), stages pallets for loading on proper dock locations, stretch-wraps product on loading dock, maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, SOS unit, and personal protective equipment, and performs pre and post-trip inspections of equipment. Must follow SyscoSafe preferred work methods at all times and follow sanitation requirements in order to comply with policy set forth by Sysco and by AIB (American Institute of Baking).The essential functions of this role include:
