Client:The Client you will be working for is a Fortune 150 global leader in the Renewable Energy industry. They specialize in Utility Scale Wind and Solar Development. This opportunity will give you experience in the growing Offshore Wind industry in the United States with a company that is a globally recognized leader in sustainable energy.Role objective:•To act as Ørsted's leading project representative at the load-out port, managing the work of Orsted and its contractors, and ensure safe and efficient load-out of WTG componentsResponsibilities:Promote a high focus on HSE in all phases of the operation and from all contractorsPlan and coordinate port operations, including management of Ørsted's equipment on siteCoordinate and manage interfaces between contractors at the load-out portOversee the planning and execution of the load-out and seafastening (performed by the WTG Installation Contractor, the Feeder Vessel Owner and the Terminal Operator) according to approved method statements and risk assessmentCoordinate with other construction packagesAct, behave and lead by example according to Ørsted valuesTasks:Ensure that the WTG Installation Contractor's HSE plan is effectively implemented at the load-out portParticipate in regular operational safety assessments / safety walksPlan load-out operations and prepare lookahead for port operations (24 hour, 48 hour and 72 hour)Ensure work is executed according to method statements and risk assessmentRaise or review change requests, including risk assessmentsOversee and manage Orsted equipment on the Feeder Vessel and at the load-out port, including planning service / recertification of equipment as requiredFacilitate MWS and CVA site attendance as requiredCoordinate and align plans with Orsted's Installation Managers and Offshore Construction ManagerCoordinate the work of the main contractors, i.e. the Terminal Operator, Installation Vessel Owners, Feeder Vessel Owners and WTG Installation Contractor and liaise with the contractor representatives on site.Arrange daily progress / coordination meetingsReport progress of construction activities relative to programRecord times and prepare Feeder Vessel Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) during load-outsPerform walkdowns and prepare handover documentation in the Digital Inspection Tool (DIT) after completion of load-outMonitor progress of the WTG Installation Contractor's component delivery, pre-assembly and readiness for load-outParticipate in daily offshore site management meetingsDecision AuthorityThe Onshore Site Manager has the authority to direct the contractors in the load-out port.The Onshore Site Manager has the authority to intervene or stop the operation in case of safety or quality issues, or if the approved procedures are not being followed by the contractors.DeliverablesDaily Progress ReportsPort operations and load-out operations lookaheadWalkdown and handover reportsMinutes from daily progress meetingsMandatory: • GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling • HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO or BOSIET and EBS (STASS, HEED or EBS) • Medical certificate including chester step • IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE trainingPay Range:The pay range for this position is $35-40/hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
