We are partnering with a leading healthcare provider in Fort Worth, TX, to identify a skilled Manager of Ortho Neuro Med Surg RN. This role offers a unique opportunity to take on 24-hour accountability for the effective and efficient operations of the Neurosurgical Medical-Surgical department, under the supervision of the Director of Progressive Care. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader capable of ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and achieving budgetary goals. This full-time, onsite position includes a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and potential relocation assistance. Location: Fort Worth, TX 76102 Position: Manager Ortho Neuro Med Surg RN Salary: $75,750 - $113,625 annually (based on experience) Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire Work Hours: Day shift Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis Sign-On Bonus: Available on a case-by-case basis Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and accountability for the Neurosurgical Medical-Surgical department.
  • Ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality patient care that aligns with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee operational and capital budget goals.
  • Perform hourly rounding and respond promptly to patient needs and requests.
  • Collaborate as an interdisciplinary team member to support patient outcomes and departmental success.
  • Maintain patient safety by following hospital policies, including infection control and personal protective equipment protocols.
  • Assist with new employee orientation and promote cost-effective practices without compromising quality of care.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN license in the state of Texas or Compact State licensure.
  • 3-5 years of recent acute care leadership experience in an ICU or neurological unit.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Demonstrated clinical practice within the last 2-5 years in the area of expertise.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet department goals.
  • Experience with interdisciplinary team collaboration and fiscal responsibility.
