DescriptionSAIC is looking for a Senior OSINT Collector SME with advanced target language skills and cultural expertise to work with a diverse team of collectors, linguists, cultural experts, and operations officers, providing operational support to dynamic global operations. This position will require interaction with a wide variety of Government and contractor personnel – ability to operate in a diverse, evolving, and high-profile environment is key.Positions are available at the following locations:Vicenza, Italy (French and/or Arabic)Wiesbaden, Germany (Russian)Republic of Korea (Korean / Hangeul)Hawaii (Mandarin Chinese)Augusta, GA (Arabic and/or Persian/Farsi, Russian, Mandarin Chinese)Charlottesville, VA (Mandarin Chinese and/or Russian)Please indicate language and location preference in application cover letter.Job Duties:Responsible for OSINT Collection and reporting activities, focused on target language data collection from textual, video, and audio dataResponsible for locating and collecting relevant information from diverse sources in the Cyber domain, including social media, press sources, and other open source repositoriesEmploys collection techniques and signature reduction tools to identify and collect information relevant to customer requirementsApplies internet-based research skills, including manipulation of proprietary and commercial tools, and advanced research methodsLeverages foreign cultural expertise to support information collection, product development, and assist teammates with intelligence problemsCollaborates with team members, government representatives, and industry partners to support intelligence and analysis activitiesProduces incident, threat, and information reports based on customer direction, and in compliance with relevant U.S. government policiesQualificationsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in International Studies, or a related field and ten (10) years or more experience supporting U.S. government intelligence activitiesField experience may be substituted for education requirementsIndustry OSINT, anti-fraud, or Trust and Safety experience may be substituted for U.S. government intelligence experienceClearance Requirement:Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active Top Secret SCI ClearanceAdditional Requirements:Minimum DLPT 3/3/2 or Equivalent (ILS, ILR, ALTA) in target language requiredKnowledgeable of idioms, colloquialisms, slang, and have a sophisticated understanding of the cultural, social, and political environmentAbility to prepare and present information reports with excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to execute multiple tasks and ongoing projects while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, and proceduresProficiency in Microsoft Office productsWorking knowledge of popular, legacy, and new social media, forums, messaging services, blog sites, and mobile applicationsWilling to work outside normal business hours. These positions are not generally shift work; however, employees may be required to work outside of normal hours in response to regional crisis or conflict.Desired Certifications & Skills:Minimum 5 years of focused Defense Department / Intelligence Community experienceFormer Military linguistic experience (35P, 09L, 1N3, 2671, 2712, 2799, or equivalent)Completion of U.S. Army OS-301, OS-302, OSINT Basic Course, USSOCOM NERD, DIA OS1, FBI OS-101, or similar industry trainingExperience conducting intelligence and information briefings, and other official communications, with senior and executive leadersKnowledge of military operations, terminology, and structureTarget salary range: $120,001 - $160,000.
