Job Description:
The OT Solutions Manager leads a team of deep technical experts in the support, configuration and periodic change/patching of Process Control Systems and their integration into the overall local network (referred to as the Process Control Domain or Process Control Network). The OT Solutions Manager manages and directs teams in the configuration and maintenance security controls that safeguard the process control layer from outsider access. The OT Solutions Manager should be knowledgeable in the following concepts: IT Service Management and Integration Support, On-premise and Cloud Hosting, Business Change Management, Continuous Improvement, IT Architecture Information Risk Management and Assurance, and Collaboration Tools. The OT Solutions Manager ensures successful completion of both company and client objectives at the project level. The Manager will frequently collaborate with other management and personnel across all business units.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Enter the essential functions, duties & responsibilities of position below:
  • Manage a team of up to 10 Network/OT engineers and specialists.
  • Account Management.
  • Collaborates with management and estimation personnel to assure timely proposals and OT project assessments.
  • Collaborates with management to allocate OT resources at the project level. Responsible for procurement/vendor process (reviewing purchase orders, pricing and delivery schedules; approving vendor invoices).
  • Responsible for employee time and expense approval.
  • Facilitates internal and customer meetings to review and update OT project/account status.
  • Maintains awareness of future OT opportunities at customer facilities and informs management.
  • Leads Network/OT Teams on assigned projects.
  • Mentors and trains Network/OT Engineers on project execution methodologies.
  • Understands where the OT industry is headed and how to get there.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years' of Operational Technology related experience (Electrical, Computer, Chemical, or other Engineering/Technical degree), or a minimum of 8+ years' of Operational Technology related experience.
  • Experience includes at least 3+ years' of OT project and/or resource management, budget planning, and accountability responsibilities.
  • Be able to work under pressure. Deliver solutions fast, but to quality standards and in a compliant way.
  • Ability to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority.
  • Gather information and facilitate the decision-making process of granting approval for immediate change requests to systems with input from direct reports, understanding the potential impact to production systems prior to approval.
  • Prior experience with the following:
  • Microsoft Certifications: MSCA / MSCE
  • VMware Certifications: VCAP
  • Patching Windows and ESXi servers at a regular frequency to ensure hardware and virtual environments are kept compliant.
  • Administer McAfee, Symantec Endpoint & WSUS consoles.
  • Have worked on any backup technologies.
  • Preparing and maintaining SOP(s), Knowledge base, documentation of technologies, standards, and procedures.
