Position Overview: We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapists to join our network of healthcare professionals. As an OT contracted through our staffing agency, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, schools, and community-based programs. This flexible role offers the freedom to choose assignments based on your availability and preferences. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities, including physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial factors, to determine their needs and goals for occupational therapy intervention. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice guidelines, targeting areas such as activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, fine motor skills, coordination, and sensory integration. Provide direct therapeutic interventions to address patients' deficits and help them achieve their treatment goals, using a variety of therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about their condition, treatment plan, home exercise program, and strategies for enhancing independence and safety in daily activities. Document patient progress, treatment interventions, and outcomes accurately and in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice, maintain patient confidentiality, and comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. Qualifications: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current and valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state(s) of practice. Minimum of one year of clinical experience as an OT in a relevant healthcare setting preferred. Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with patients and colleagues. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
