The Department of Otolaryngology at the New York City Health + Hospitals/Queens in affiliation with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, is seeking a full-time Otolaryngology Physician Assistant Surgical Supervisor. We are seeking an energetic and motivated candidate to join our Queens team. The role would primarily consist of preparing patients for surgery, assisting in the operating room, and facilitating post-operative care but also include inpatient care and consultations. Responsibilities will include direct patient care of patients of all ages in an academic community hospital setting.
New York City Health + Hospitals/Queens is an acute care facility that is part of the largest municipal healthcare system in the country. It is a modern medical center with Centers of Excellence in Women's Health, Cancer Care, Diabetes Care, and Behavioral Health, and serves the most culturally diverse population in the world with a wide spectrum of medical and surgical conditions. As a member of the Otolaryngology team you will be evaluating patients in the clinic, emergency room, and inpatient setting where procedures are performed regularly throughout the day both in and out of the operating room. You will be exposed to the full spectrum of otolaryngologic issues including significant exposure to head and neck cancer patients and the NCI designated Cancer Center. You will be working alongside a small supportive team of attendings and PAs.
Successful candidates must be licensed in the State of New York. Compensation is competitive and proportionate with qualifications and excellent fringe benefits. No experience necessary.
