Hours: Hours are typically late afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Reporting Relationship: Reports to Youth Sports and Community Programming Supervisor
Position Details
The Outdoor Ice Rink and Warming House Attendant maintains the safety and operations at the outdoor skating rinks throughout the City of Eden Prairie. The primary position responsibilities and areas of impact are:
* Interacts in a positive and professional manner with the public.
* Opens and closes the warming house at scheduled time.
* Supervises the use of the warming house and ice rinks and enforces safety regulations.
* Prepares and maintains accurate records regarding usage, weather and rink conditions.
* Oversees ice rink and warming house and ensures a safe, friendly, and enjoyable atmosphere for the public.
* Performs other related duties as required (i.e. shovel snow from rinks, sidewalks, clean warming house).
While these areas are the primary focus of the position, we believe strongly in teamwork and employees may be called upon to perform a variety of duties in their roles with the City.
Position Requirements
Experience: Must be at least 15 years of age
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to lift/pull/push/move/carry up to 50 lbs, bend/stand/reach, and ice skate at a recreational level.
