Job Description:

We are seeking candidates for an Outpatient Addiction Treatment Counselor to work with our adolescent population. The person in this role will provide treatment for substance use disorders for clients ages 12-17.   • Assists in the development, coordination, and evaluation of the treatment program.
  • Conducts individual, family, and group sessions consistent with treatment plans.
  • Provides clients and families with referral resources for the services not provided by this agency or when this agency's services are not appropriate.
  • Maintains timely and accurate documentation reflective of client treatment plans and progress.
Schedule:
  • Type: Full-time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday (M, T, Th, 10a-6:30p; W, F 8a-4:30p)
Education and Experience Qualifications:
  • Candidates must have active certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (tCADC, CADC, or IADC).
  • Bachelors degree in a related field is required. Candidates with an Associates degree and 3+ years of experience as a substance use or gambling treatment counselor may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • It is not required, but we highly value candidates with their own personal experience in recovery!
