Overview:

Are you drawn to the helping professions? Have a heart for working with adults in recovery but havent necessarily earned a college degree in the field? A variety of educational and work experiences may qualify you for this full-time position based in Granite City, IL. Chestnut offers training and a career path. Responsibilities:

Provide services identified in treatment/recovery/safety plan, primarily individual and group counseling. Use evidence-based practices including CRA. Provide education on mental health and substance use to encourage family involvement.

Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field with at least 1,000 hours of supervised mental health experience. Must be willing to be trained in Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) and obtain CRA certification within 3 months following training. Basic computer skills and experience using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and an electronic medical record.
