Job Summary and QualificationsThe Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the supervisory and operations of all outpatient programs (partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, etc.), and manages all activities involving outpatient referrals from initial call through completion of treatment plans, coordinating caseloads, developing and managing the outpatient staff, and marketing the program. The Director, under the direction of the Senior Director of Clinical Services will oversee staffing, supervision, risk management, quality improvement, and related activities. The Director is responsible for identifying the need for, and implementing and complying with all unit and hospital standards. The Director will provide professional leadership as an advanced level clinician; provide management of outpatient treatment services, may provide direct mental health services to individuals; work with other team managers to assure coordination and cooperation between the outpatient team and other mental health programs.

Qualification Requirements:
Education: Possession of a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a behavioral, social, nursing, or medical science or any equivalent combination of experience and training; three year's post-Master's experience in a professional practice in a mental health agency or a social agency closely allied to mental health
Licensure: Current licensure as appropriate (LCSW, LPC, Registered Nurse, etc.).
Certifications: Basic Life Support (CPR-for healthcare providers) required. CPI completed as a part of the general hospital orientation.
Registrations: N/A
Experience: Two years experience as a supervisor or administrator required in a behavioral healthcare setting performing clinical assessments or in a clinical treatment setting. Extensive experience in human services, program development, supervision, and administration is required.
