As an Outpatient Intern, you will have an opportunity to gain a broad range of experience, working with children, adolescents, and adults; offering individual, family, and group therapy for clients with a variety of diagnoses and presenting problems.Hear what a recent intern had to say!! What You'll Do:
- Provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of diagnoses and presenting problems.
- Co-facilitate group sessions.
What We Require:
- Must be currently enrolled in a master's program in Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Must have completed most coursework before beginning internship, particularly, all techniques classes and ethics must be completed.
- Must be able to work at least 15 hours per week.
- Must be able to come into the office at least 1 day per week for group and in-person sessions
- LPC/MFT Internship: Duration of assignment is at least 12 months or 3 semesters.
- MSW Internship: Duration of assignment is at least 9 months or 2 semesters.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the internship, with or without accommodation.
