Check out what it's like to be an Outpatient PT: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.+ Minimum of a Bachelor's degree if graduated before 01/01/2016.+ Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) required if graduated after 01/01/2016.+ For international candidates, a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a DPT is preferred.+ Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Physical Therapist license in the state of practice. State licensure must be obtained within 90 days of employment.+ CPR certification is required or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.+ Must maintain all certifications and licensure according to expiration dates.+ American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) membership is preferred.Additional Requirements:+ Valid driver's license required if assigned to drive a company vehicle. If driving a personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required along with a valid driver's license.+ Ability to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds, and push up to 300 pounds.+ Willingness to work at various locations as assigned.
