Check out what it#s like to be an Outpatient PT:# Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy. Minimum of a Bachelor#s degree if graduated before 01/01/2016. Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) required if graduated after 01/01/2016. For international candidates, a Bachelor#s degree in Physical Therapy is required; a DPT is preferred. Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Physical Therapist license in the state of practice. State licensure must be obtained within 90 days of employment. CPR certification is required or must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment. Must maintain all certifications and licensure according to expiration dates. American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) membership is preferred. Additional Requirements: Valid driver#s license required if assigned to drive a company vehicle. If driving a personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required along with a valid driver#s license. Ability to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds, and push up to 300 pounds. Willingness to work at various locations as assigned.
