For over 50 years, New Horizons Mental Health Services, a non-profit behavioral health agency, has worked to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals, families, and the community through our services.We are currently seeking a full-time Outpatient Therapists in Lancaster, Ohio.POSITION DESCRIPTION:Outpatient Therapists provide individual, family and group psychotherapy for adults and children and their families, provides crisis intervention/emergency services, performs clinical diagnostic and assessment functions, and develops and implements initial and revised Individual Service Plan.They complete all appropriate case documentation and case planning information, completes all necessary reports per agency policy and protocol, completes appropriate documentation of collateral contacts, and participates in clinical supervision. Other duties include linking client with CPST resources; monitor client care and progress; collaborate with other providers when appropriate.Additionally, Outpatient Therapists attend required meetings, and provides other administrative functions as needed, while conforming to all relevant agency standards/regulations.Additional duties as assigned. Minimum two (2) years post-licensure experience preferred, Ohio licensure (such as LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC) is required. Position requires a working knowledge of the DSM-5-TR, family dynamics, and of various psychotherapy modalities and techniques. Position requires an ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary agency team, to communicate and relate effectively with individuals of all ages and families, understanding the Recovery model and working in this model with families, and to be sensitive and attentive to the cultural needs of each client and family. Position also requires good written communication skills, and strong organization skills.Salary Description Starting at $50,000.00
