Job Description:
Status: Part-Time HourlyFLSA classification: Non- Exempt Summary of the Position: The Outpatient Therapist/Community Specialist is responsible for the provision of face-to-face and virtual therapy services in clinical behavioral stabilization and support interventions, supportive behavioral counseling, psycho-educational services, referrals, skills training, advice and counseling services designed to assist children, youth and/or their families to strengthen and develop the adaptive and coping skills they need to restore or maintain the child or youth's capacity to function in the community. In addition, as an employee of YAP, the Outpatient Therapist/Community Specialist will assume an active roles in improving the department/program outcome and overall organizational performance through participation in company quality improvement activities. Qualifications/Requirements: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related discipline with one (1) year of relevant experience in a comparable in-community environment preferred. Must possess a clinical License in your field of discipline (LSW, LAC, LCSW, and LPC) or 60 credits towards counseling Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
