We serve the Salt Lake City and surrounding area using evidence-based treatments in a comfortable, confidential atmosphere.This opportunity provides the following:Salt Lake Behavioral Health provides a challenging and rewarding work environmentGrowth and development opportunities within UHS and its subsidiariesCompetitive Compensation401k plan with company matchA PRN Outpatient Therapist performs social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, teaching, complete specialized clinical work services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term and long-term therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed. The Outpatient Therapist will be responsible for managing a set case load, providing mental health/chemical dependency treatment in a group setting, completing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating continuing care/discharge planning. The Outpatient Therapist works with at treatment team and multi-disciplinary team.For more information about Salt Lake behavioral Health, go to our website at www.saltlakebehavioralhealth.com and you can also watch our video from staff at Qualifications Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field required.Experience: Three 2 years' experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills preferred; must have strong clinical assessment skills.License: CSW, LCSW, ACMHC, CMHC, AMFT, LMFT with the state of UtahAdditional Requirements: CPR certification is required. AMSR Training is required within 90 days. You will need to successfully complete our current training for restraints and seclusions. This training will need to be done prior to assisting in any patient restraints or seclusions and within 90 days of employment.
